Fonts & Colour

Fonts are a key aspect of my main task as different fonts reflect different meanings and styles. They can give a different image and reflect a different styles. Fonts can be different shapes which can be softer or sharper which can show personality through text. So therefore I need to be very specific about which genre I am aiming at and choose a font style from that. As I am doing an rock music magazine my font will be bold and unique which will stand out against other magazines. The font helps the audience understand what genre magazines are easily. Also, colour is a big impact on magazines as colour represents different moods of the magazine so therefore as I’ve chosen rock genre I need to carefully think about the colours used on my magazine.
